3rd Lincolnshire Virtual-to-Real Open Exhibition
Harding House Gallery 23rd Sept-5th Oct'25
Terms and Conditions:
-
Eligibility
Entry into the 3rd Lincolnshire Virtual-to-Real Open Exhibition at Harding House Gallery is open to any artist resident in Lincolnshire.
-
Submitted works
A maximum of two pieces may be submitted to the Virtual Gallery per artist that have been created by the applicant during the previous 24 months. The works should not have been exhibited in other open art exhibitions in Lincolnshire during this period. All art submitted will be exhibited in the Virtual Gallery first, and depending on the level of interest, at least one piece per artist will be guaranteed a place in the real exhibition. If there is space for a second piece, these will be selected on a first come, first served basis. The submitted works will be available for sale on-line before the exhibition and indefinitely afterwards if required.
-
Art Media
The medium can be 2D painting, drawing, photography, or 3D in any medium (eg sculpture, ceramics, or textiles). Art produced in whole or in part by any Artificial Intelligence tools will not be permitted.
-
Deadline for submissions
Images of artworks should be uploaded via the Submission Form (see link at the bottom of this page) before the nominal deadline of 23rd August'25. If the number of submissions (one per artist initially) closely approaches the available gallery space before the deadline, it will be brought forward. If there is still space available after the deadline, artists will be invited to have a second piece included in the exhibition prioritised by the earliest dates the submissions were received.
-
Artwork sizes
The maximum unframed size of 100cm x 110cm (~ 3ft 3ins x 3ft 7ins) will apply for wall art and 60cm x 60cm x 60cm height (~2ft x 2ft x 2ft) for 3D media.
-
Selection of works
There is no formal assessment process as such, and artwork should be in line with the acceptable values of art, culture and community that is not disrespectful or discriminatory to any members of our society. The Harding House gallery staff reserve the right to reject work that is deemed unsuitable for exhibition.
-
Fees/Commission on sales
The fee for having the work show-cased on-line and then exhibited at Harding House is £7.00 per piece. This fee is independent of the Harding House organisation and will be collected by the gallery hirer (Kevin Byron) before the exhibition. The fee covers the shared costs of the gallery hire, the printed catalogue of the exhibited works and the refreshments for the private view. The commission on sales in the actual exhibition at Harding House is 40% and all payments for sold art will be managed by the gallery staff.
-
Sold works
The works may be sold on-line prior to the exhibition up until 30th August'25 and there will be no commission for on-line sales. In the event of any on-line sales the artist may replace the sold piece with another via the submission form. For on-line sales, the artist has sole responsibility for organising the payment and for shipping the work to the buyer. OPen Art Lincs will accept no responsibility for issues arising between the artists and the purchasers of art on the Virtual Gallery.
